Thanks for showing the bottom side of the layout! Been looking for pictures. I have a suitcase that would barely fit. I'd have to cut about half an inch of depth off and didn't know which problems that would bring. In the meantime I'm building a copy on my own from scratch, but if I goof up, I may buy the ready one from NOCH.

I have it double sided with the framing items that Miller Engineering sells. I too, did the same thing, not thinking about the circuit board on the track! Except, I burned one of my signs out. Live and learn. I am sure others have done this with many of the signs they sell. And.....Plasticville buildings are easy to paint, as I did the passenger station, the Frosty Bar and the Toll Booth, barn, windmill, etc.

I love this, I like to scan the old window display cards to make a backup incase something happens. It is cool art.

You can take clear plastic or acetate and cut to size. Either glue to the walls or cut them to the size of the window and some tape maybe to it and you have authentic windows.

You can get Sinclair specific watershed or paper decals JL Innovative (sold separately). That's what I did when starting my own Sinclair station out of a Greenlight provided 1/64 service station. It was a bleakly faithful, and increasingly insignificant with the passage of time effort to replicate the "Mobico" station (Christine movie). The station was in white, with green pinstriping and trim, so I thought it had the trappings of an old time Sinclair station, and I could get away with brand conversion. It worked, with Sinclair specific watershed and paper decals provided by JL Innovative and Louis Marx. And my OWN imaginative detailing, Scotch Colored Craft Tape in Green for the foundation pinstriping. Glue together a clump of unused model kit tires to take up real estate on the building side, and always the vehicles coming in for gas, or service. But is it complete? No, it ain't. Next, as the completion outlines itself from a short distance, it can't be without an auto body and extra service bay diorama background, coming in from China, to further exude the charm, where an old rusty Volkswagen will reside for posterity purposes. Out back, we'll feature a Mijo Bikini Car Wash set with the swimsuit 18+s washing and waxing a '56 Chevy Nomad, and the service joes in the repair bays, and the station manager behind a green counter in the office. And last, BUT NOT LEAST!!!....the rotating Miller Engineering provided Sinclair neon as the crowning touch every Sinclair station should have!!! I also want to super glue a small plastic green dinosaur onto the matching aluminum island canopy/office roof. And then we'll finally wrap up the construction, and simply enjoy our work. That neon sign is a must. I have one for a similar Sunoco station.

Dude I got a Iron Man 3 poster which was used for Iron Man 3 display at my local grocery store that I used to work at I had someone take a picture of me with it. Week later the store let me keep the poster to this day

Hey Jazz when getting from Ebay if get something from there and it has an issue you might try calling Miller And ask them if you can send in the sign & have a look at the Sign & Converter they probably can replace it with just a New Sign or fix the issue in the sign itself.. I'm sending my planters sign and if it can't be fixed all I need to to do is send em' $9.00 and I can get a replacement Planters Peanut Sign... How big are the posters?

You are wrong about the double sided begin the original post and aything else is a copy . Are you saying that they are fakes? If you are saying that I can tell you 100% that is incorrect. I have both were it is double sided on the back and blank on the back. I've got more real posters right from the movie theathre and you get both version. sometimes there are variants. I dont know what to do with my collection. It is too large!

Nice gas station, I'll have to look for one of those next time I get to a train show. Yes, it's easier to put garage doors on without the roof. You can glue them together with white glue. If you decide to take it apart all you need is some hot water. I have a school house where the sides were bowed. Cut a piece of foam board the size of the inside floor and it will push out the sides.

When glueing try using wax paper instead of newspaper.

Unfortunatly id say that if every poster thats signed was real ud proly be in a minimum of 200 for each poster, harrison ford alone on last crusade would be 400-500.00, and the back to the future would proly be right in that range also. Just prepare yourself because many are probably fake

Nice building, rare to see one still in the plastic wrap! I do think the roof is meant to go on last, over the lip on the bottom of the front “tower” with the Plasticville name.
